The Role

We're looking for a passionate nursing leader to join us as a Director of Nursing. You will report to the Head of Nursing. This is a Full-Time Hybridposition located in Nashville, TN. The Director of Nursing (DON) leads and directs clinical operations within the home health sector, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance. As a senior leader, the DON collaborates with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives, fosters a culture of excellence and empathy, and champions the growth and development of the clinical team. This role oversees all clinical operations and provides critical leadership to clinic leads, case managers, and supporting staff, ensuring alignment with Abby Care's mission and core values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership and Vision:
    • Develop clinical strategies supporting Abby Care's mission for children and families with special needs and chronic illnesses.
    • Collaborate with leadership to set goals, evaluate outcomes, and improve quality.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and excellence within clinical teams.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Manage daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Align staffing and resource allocation with organizational needs to support optimal patient care.
    • Lead quality assurance programs and compliance efforts to maintain clinical efficacy and patient safety.
  • Clinical Excellence and Quality of Care:

    • Lead performance reviews and professional development for Clinical Nurse Managers and their teams, fostering continuous growth.
