Whatyoulldo

Lead Infios configuration delivery

  • Design, build, andoptimizeInfios TMS configurations including workflows, rules, master data structures, and rate logic to support global specialtylogistics.
  • Performunit testingand peer reviewsof configuration changes(e.g.,rules,workflows,rates,master data impacts), ensuringexpected behavior across corelogisticsscenarioswhilemaintainingconsistency with standards, performance considerations, and maintainability.
  • Facilitatemeetings and give product demonstrations.

Promote safe, repeatable deployments

  • Plan and executeconfiguration migrations between environments(e.g., dev/test/staging/prod) using established tools and processes,validatingcompleteness, dependencies, and version alignment.

Integration confidence

  • Partner with integration teams and vendors to support TMS connectivity and data flows (EDI/API/file-based), ensuring configurations align with mapping, events, statuses, and orchestration across systems.

Translate needs into configuration-first solutions

  • Work closely withother teamsto turn business requirements into scalable Infios design patterns (configuration over customization where possible).
  • Contribute to configuration standards, reusable patterns, documentation, and governance that increase delivery speed without sacrificing quality.

  • Proven ability tomigrate configurations across environmentsreliably (including dependency management, version control/release packaging, and validation).
  • Excellent communication skills  able to translate between user and developer with clarity and empathy.
  • Helpful to have
  • Experience in specialtylogistics, cold-chain, clinical trials, or other time-critical, high-service networks.
  • Familiarity with change control practices and documentation expectations in regulated or highly governed environments.
  • Comfort with data validation and analysis (e.g., structured files such as CSV/XML/JSON/EDI).

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically requires 8 or more years of application programming and analysis experience.

Has a broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards. Experience in leading projects. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas, identify and understand requirements and develop alternate solutions. Experience designing, developing and testing applications using proven or emerging technologies, in a variety of technologies and environments

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced programming skills in several programming languages

  • Advanced understanding of relational database design and theory

  • Ability to translate complicated business requirements into multiple solution options and explain the pros/cons of various approaches

  • Advanced knowledge of Object-Orient Design Patterns and use cases for applying them

  • Proficient communication skills and experience in mentoring/leading junior developers

  • Technical experience with systems networking, databases, development, and user support.

  • Good background in Data Base design (e.g. Microsoft SQL and Access)

  • Exposure to servers technology (e.g. IBM Power 8) would be helpful to assist with integration

  • Experience with WMS application (e.g. Inbound, Outbound, Pick pack and ship processes) preferred but not required.
