The Tire Program Manager will use data and performance dashboards to identify where to focus, then engage directly with national tire dealers and independent recappers in the field to challenge decisions, enforce standards, and change outcomes. DCLI field teams are available as a supporting resource, but this manager will be expected to be present on the ground at priority locations and serve as the primary driver of program improvement.
Work StyleHybrid - combination of office-based analytics work and regular field travel to approximately 50 locations nationally approximately 50% field and 50% office-based.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProgram Analytics & Reporting- Monitor and analyze tire management dashboards daily to track Cap Only, Cap & Casing, and RPO (Repair Only) consumption rates across all locations.
- Identify high Cap & Casing locations and flag outliers for targeted intervention.
- Track RPO casing volumes to ensure dealers are correctly classifying repair-only casings rather than upselling to full recap or replacement.
- Produce regular KPI reports for leadership showing cap-only rate, RPO rate, savings realized, and trend direction.
- Conduct location-level analysis to differentiate between legitimate casing loss and preventable scrap or upsell activity.
Dealer & Vendor Management- Manage accountability across DCLI's tire dealer network, including national tire dealers and independent recappers.

- Challenge dealers on casing classification decisions and push back firmly where data suggests preventable scrap or upsell activity.
- Ensure dealers adhere to DCLI's tire and casing standards as defined by company policy.
- Build and maintain dealer scorecards to track performance over time and escalate non-compliance where needed.
Field Operations & Auditing- This is a hybrid role combining office-based analytics with regular field travel about 50% travel- the manager is expected to be on-site at dealer and terminal locations as needed to personally drive accountability and change.
- Use data and dashboard analytics to identify and prioritize the highest-opportunity locations, then travel directly to those sites to audit casing activity, challenge dealer practices, and implement corrective action.
- Conduct hands-on casing audits at dealer facilities to verify casing classification, inspect RPO handling, and confirm compliance with DCLI's tire standards.
- Coordinate with DCLI field teams - available as a shared resource, not direct reports - to extend coverage, support training, and reinforce standards at locations where the manager cannot be physically present.
- Develop and implement casing tracking procedures at terminal, ramp, and depot locations, training personnel on the ground during site visits.
- Establish escalation processes for locations where repeated violations or irregular casing patterns are identified.
Policy Enforcement & Training- Ensure all tire activity across the network adheres to DCLI's internal tire and casing policies.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed at each tire swap, including casing condition, reason for replacement, and dealer disposition.
- Train field staff and terminal personnel on tire policy, RPO identification, and proper casing handling procedures.
