A day in the life of a Senior Manager, FP&A - Wholesale Americas at Timberland
As the Senior Manager, FP&A for Wholesale Americas, you will serve as the finance leader and strategic business partner for Timberland's Wholesale business across the region. You will play a critical role in shaping business decisions, driving financial performance, and providing visibility into risks and opportunities that impact the channel's growth and profitability.
You will partner closely with the Wholesale leadership team and cross-functional business partners to translate strategy into financial outcomes, deliver actionable insights, and drive accountability across the organization. This role requires a combination of strong financial acumen, commercial mindset, leadership, and the ability to influence decision-making in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Serve as the primary finance business partner to the Americas Wholesale leadership team, providing financial guidance and strategic insight to support business decisions and drive profitable growth.
• Lead the Wholesale Americas strategic plan, annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, and in-season business updates.
• Own the end-to-end financial performance review process for the Wholesale business, including revenue, gross margin, SG&A, operating income, working capital, and cash flow.
• Deliver timely and insightful analysis of business performance, identifying key drivers, emerging risks, and opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
• Drive accountability through business reviews and performance management processes, ensuring financial commitments and business objectives remain aligned.
• Lead the regional in-season forecasting process, providing clear visibility into demand trends, customer performance, financial outlook, and key business assumptions.
• Partner closely with Commercial, Merchandising, Demand Planning, Operations, and Brand teams to evaluate opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Support customer and market-level decision-making through financial analysis and scenario planning.
• Identify and implement processes, systems, and reporting improvements that enhance forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and business insights.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and reporting requirements.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and executive-level decision support on strategic initiatives and special projects.
What do you need to succeed?
We are looking for a highly analytical, commercially minded finance leader who combines strong financial expertise with the ability to influence decisions, challenge assumptions, and partner effectively across the organization.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or business-facing finance leadership roles.
• Proven track record of partnering with senior business leaders to drive decision-making and deliver financial results.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and P&L ownership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex planning processes while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional business partnering and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and build credibility across all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership experience with a passion for developing talent and building high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
• Growth mindset and a continuous improvement orientation with experience driving process and reporting enhancements.
• Experience within consumer goods, wholesale, retail, apparel, or footwear industries is preferred.

Hiring Range:
$108,000.00 USD - $135,000.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
