About the roleAs a TIBCO Technology Architect, you will make an impact by driving enterprise integration strategy, designing scalable API and middleware architectures, and ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions. You will be a valued member of the Integration and Middleware Engineering team and work collaboratively with enterprise architects, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver large-scale integration initiatives.
In this role, you will: - Define and design integration architecture leveraging TIBCO suite, API management platforms, and microservices patterns to support enterprise initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end integration lifecycle including design, development oversight, deployment, release management, and production support.
- Establish and enforce integration standards, security protocols, and best practices through design reviews and governance activities.
- Drive API strategy including design, development, security, and lifecycle management across multiple platforms (APIM/APIC/TIBCO).
- Provide technical leadership including troubleshooting complex integration issues, performance optimization, and roadmap planning for modernization and technical debt reduction.
What you need to have to be considered - 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years as an Integration Architect or Lead on large-scale integration programs.
- Strong hands-on experience with TIBCO suite (BusinessWorks, EMS, BusinessConnect, Adapters, Plug-ins) including development and administration.
- 5+ years of API design, development, and architecture experience with strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, and API security standards.
- Experience with microservices architecture, integration patterns (Pub/Sub, SOA), and enterprise integration design principles.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management platforms (Entra, Ping, Azure B2C) and security implementations (SSL, certificates, authentication).
These will help you stand out - Experience with B2B integration platforms such as TIBCO BusinessConnect or other MFT/COTS B2B tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, API gateways, and hybrid integration environments (Azure APIM, IBM APIC/App Connect).
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong data modeling skills including RDBMS, XML, JSON, and XSD with SQL expertise.
- Experience managing production releases, ServiceNow change management, and 24x7 support models.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
