OverviewApogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Threat Specialist supporting the Nuclear Enterprise Center (NEC) at Fort Meade for the USSTRATCOM customer. NEC partners with stakeholders across the NC3 enterprise to direct and manage NC3 enterprise operations, advocate for and synchronize the fielding of modernized systems, and to define and integrate the next generation of NC3 capabilities. The Threat Specialist II will join the Mission Engineering Team. This is a full-time opportunity at Fort Meade.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in threat identification and assessment, threat reduction measures, crisis management, consequence management, and training and performance support to inform NC3 mission engineering studies.
- Conducting limited threat, vulnerability, and capability assessments including anti-terrorism scenario modeling and simulations as well as identifying potential impacts of adversary tactics on NC3 communication systems.
- Identifying and documenting threat reduction measures including plans, policies, and procedures.
- Performing consequence analysis including disaster recovery, restoration of operations, logistics management, information recovery, medical support, and decontamination.

Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must possess a TS at time of application with current or willingness to obtain SCI eligibility.Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical fieldYears of Experience: 5 years relevant experienceAdditional Experience: Relevant experience in the following:

- Assisting in threat identification and assessment, threat reduction measures, crisis management, consequence management, and training and performance support.
- Conducting limited threat, vulnerability, and capability assessments including antiterrorism scenario modeling and simulations.
- Identifying and implementing threat reduction measures including plans, policies, and procedures; risk management planning; physical and cyber security; and business continuity planning.
- Performing consequence activities including disaster recovery, restoration of operations, logistics management, information recovery, medical support, and Decontamination.
Preferred Qualifications:

Pay RangeUSD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
