The role focuses on transforming vendor-level data into actionable intelligence across risk tolerance monitoring, concentration and systemic risk analysis, emerging risk identification, resilience events, program effectiveness, Board reporting, and regulatory engagement.

Through data-driven insights and enterprise risk aggregation, you will help strengthen DTCC's Third Party Risk framework, governance reporting, regulatory readiness, and proactive risk management capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Third Party Risk Analytics & Intelligence
  • Aggregate and analyze third-party risk data to identify material exposures, emerging risks, and cross-vendor trends.
  • Develop actionable, AI-enabled intelligence that supports proactive risk management, early identification of emerging risks, and enterprise decision-making.
  • Assess relationships between third-party risks and broader operational, cyber, technology, and resilience risks.
  • Embed advanced analytics, automation, and AI/ML insights into third-party risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting processes.

Risk Reporting & Dashboard Management
  • Develop and maintain enterprise Third Party Risk dashboards, scorecards, metrics, and executive reporting.
  • Translate complex risk information into clear, meaningful insights for senior leadership and governance committees.
  • Enhance reporting capabilities through automation, data integration, advanced analytics, dashboards, and digital tools that improve transparency, decision-making, and risk reporting.

Risk Monitoring & Concentration Analysis
  • Monitor trends in vendor financial health, cyber events, operational disruptions, performance issues, and program effectiveness.
  • Lead concentration and systemic risk analysis across third-party relationships, services, technologies, and critical dependencies.
  • Identify and escalate material risk themes, emerging concerns, and potential exposure concentrations.
  • Drive the shift from reactive to predictive risk management by identifying control weaknesses, exposure trends, and emerging risk indicators before they materialize into issues.

Risk Appetite, Metrics & Governance Reporting
  • Monitor Third Party Risk appetite, tolerance metrics, KRIs, and KPIs.
  • Assess the effectiveness of risk metrics and recommend enhancements to strengthen risk visibility and early warning capabilities.
  • Prepare executive and Board-level reporting on key exposures, emerging risks, concentration concerns, and risk performance.

Regulatory Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Support regulatory examinations, audits, and governance reviews through accurate, data-driven reporting and analysis.
  • Promote data quality, reporting integrity, and continuous improvement across Third Party Risk analytics and reporting processes.
  • Foster a data-driven risk culture through transparent reporting, actionable insights, and thematic narratives that explain risk drivers, exposure changes, and governance implications.

Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in Third Party Risk Management, Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Analytics, Business Intelligence, Regulatory Reporting, or related disciplines.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing executive reporting, dashboards, risk metrics, and analytical frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, data visualization, analytics, automation, and AI/ML tools to strengthen risk insights and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of third-party risk, operational resilience, concentration risk, and risk governance.
  • Experience within financial services or another highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate data-driven and AI-enabled risk insights into practical controls, reporting, and operational improvements.

Talents Needed for Success
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable risk insights.
  • Experience developing dashboards, KRIs, KPIs, and executive reporting.
  • Knowledge of concentration risk, systemic risk, operational resilience, and emerging risk analysis.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
