Hexcel is seeking a
Thermoplastics Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations, process optimization, new product development, and continuous improvement initiatives within our thermoplastics manufacturing facility.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in thermoplastics manufacturing, with profile extrusion and/or twin-screw compounding experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with CAD software; SolidWorks experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with tooling design, mold flow analysis, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing scale-up, process optimization, SPC, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience with cost modeling, quoting, manufacturing routing, and BOM management strongly preferred.
- Project management experience and the ability to serve as a technical lead are a plus; MS Project experience strongly preferred.
- Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Complete salary range for this role: $76,550 - $135,000
