Position: Substance Abuse Therapist, Forensic Unit, Mountain View 4th floor
Job Type: Fulltime Days
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am – 330pm
Sign on Bonus: $5,000
Essential Functions
Provides direct assessment and counseling services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients.
Provides individual, marital, family and group psychotherapy as assigned
Maintains accurate and complete records, including adequate paperwork to facilitate properbilling.
Knowledgeable of CPT Codes and their appropriate and effective application.
Maintains confidentiality of all patient, hospital, and employee related information.
Delivers personalized, efficient care with respect for the individual’s spiritual and cultural differences.
Participates in community consultation and education as requested.
Participates in facility treatment team meetings communicating clinical impressions.
Compiles comprehensive patient/family history and records the data.
Works to ensure effective performance and productivity maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate patients.

Education and License:
• Education Required: A Bachelor’s degree from a college with a major in chemical dependency, social work, counseling or nursing (with a clinical specialty in human services), or other related field
• Experience Required: 1 year of clinical experience (a minimum of 1,820 hours) in a health or human service agency; Preferred: Clinical experience in a drug and alcohol setting
• Certification/Licensure/Registration
Required: LADC-I or LADC-II
Salary range: $69,000 - $93,000 per year
