Siemens Industry, Inc. located in Johnson city, TN is looking to fill a permanent position for a Software/Firmware Test Engineer. You will participate as part of an international project team to develop and release state-of-the-art industrial automation products.
We are looking for a Test Professional. This position will be based in Johnson City, TN. Role Description: - Contributes to the test in relation to the design and implementation of both software and firmware solutions for the Siemens Industry product portfolio.
- You will work in an agile development environment in a team focused on delivering effective and robust solutions for our customers.
- As part of this team, you will be included in interactions with domestic and international stakeholders.
- You must have attention to detail, proficiency in problem solving and the ability to quickly learn new technologies as needed.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in C#
- Expert programming in C# and a willingness to learn
- Working experience testing firmware for complex runtime embedded environments
- Practical experience creating moderately complex Object-Oriented designs
- Excellent attention to detail; strong work ethic, self-motivated
- Good interpersonal, communications, and teamwork skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications: - BS in STEM related degree, or equivalent experience
- Practical experience writing new product tests
- Practical experience in creating automated tests and frameworks
- Practical experience with S71200 G1 and S71200 G2 control systems
- Experience or knowledge of the S71500 control systems
- Practical experience with TIA portal programming package
- Able to analyze complex technical problems and create tests to verify solutions

The pay range for this position is $61,547 - $105,509 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
