Position Overview:

This role is responsible for leading software testing, integration, and release activities to ensure complex systems meet quality, performance, and customer requirements. The position serves as a key liaison between development, testing, project management, and customer teams, driving test strategy, defect resolution, release readiness, and continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle. By leveraging Agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices, the role helps deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions on schedule while mitigating risks and ensuring traceability from requirements through deployment.

What your day may look like:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans, test procedures, and automated test cases to validate system requirements and ensure product quality.
  • Coordinate testing activities across Agile/Scrum sprints and release cycles, supporting sprint planning, test execution, progress tracking, and release readiness assessments.
  • Maintain requirement traceability matrices (RTM), track requirement coverage, identify gaps, and manage all testing artifacts, results, and documentation.
  • Lead defect management activities, including defect tracking, triage, verification, root cause collaboration, and customer-reported issue investigation.
  • Prepare test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics while proactively identifying risks, blockers, and dependencies; collaborate closely with development, project management, requirements, customer-facing teams, and customers to ensure on-time delivery and quality objectives are met.

To thrive in this role, you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, system integration, and testing on large-scale, global projects within cross-functional development and quality teams.
  • Strong expertise in Linux environments, including administration, troubleshooting, shell scripting, and system diagnostics.
  • Experience with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency with Java, Python, and Angular development technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in and leading Agile development teams, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather requirements, ask insightful questions, and drive alignment.

The pay range for this position is $124,524.00 - $146,370.00 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
