This role focuses on verifying engine attributes related to combustion, mechanical function, and durability through hands-on testing, data collection, processing, and reporting.
The role supports engine performance development, including test planning, execution, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities - Design and execute test plans to validate engine attributes.
- Review test plans and execute testing to support engine performance development.
- Perform engine dynamometer testing to validate combustion, mechanical function, and engine durability.
- Work with cross-functional groups to execute test plans.
- Collect and process test data.
- Prepare test data and observations for presentations to cross-functional team members.
- Support testing and validation of engine attributes related to combustion, mechanical function, and durability.
- Perform test line-up, data processing, and reporting of data observations.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with engine combustion development testing and calibration development.
- Experience in engine design or knowledge of engine functions.
- Background knowledge of engine testing and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with data processing tools, combustion data analysis, and engine controls and calibration.
- Experience with data collection.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with data analysis.
- Mechanical development experience.
- Understanding of engine functions.
