Test Engineers, for a contingent program supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of complex test and evaluation activities. In this role, you will analyze system requirements, develop test strategies and procedures, collect and evaluate performance data, and work closely with Government and engineering teams to assess system effectiveness, identify risks, and support mission-critical decision making.
Locations: Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade
Responsibilities- Analyze system requirements, acquisition plans, system descriptions, and concepts of operations to develop effective test and evaluation strategies
- Plan and execute performance analysis and performance data collection activities
- Develop evaluation plans, test plans, analysis plans, risk assessments, and test readiness documentation
- Design and coordinate test events aligned with program milestones and Government decision points
- Analyze system performance and risk areas to help focus T&E planning and evaluation efforts
- Apply statistical analysis techniques to assess system performance and characterize confidence in test results
- Select, develop, and use analytical tools to support test execution and evaluation
- Evaluate collected test data and translate results into clear findings, reports, and recommendations
- Apply modeling and simulation techniques to support system evaluation and testing
- Establish and support data and configuration management processes for test activities
- Coordinate with engineering, acquisition, operations, and other test organizations to support integrated T&E efforts
- Assess system requirements for testability, effectiveness, suitability, and operational performance
- Produce Government T&E products including Test & Evaluation Strategies, Test & Evaluation Master Plans, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and Evaluation Reports
- Work directly with Government sponsors to coordinate test implementation, status, risks, and results
- For Level 3 positions, provide technical leadership, coordinate T&E resources and activities, and help develop solutions to evolving program risks and test challenges
Requirements- Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Level 2 Qualifications- Five (5) years experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Level 3 Qualifications- Eight (8) years experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
