Full Job Description
Location: 3617 Parkway Lane, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092

Position Title: Test Design Professional

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week

Summary of Duties: Define and execute reliability test plans for existing products and new development at the component and system level. Acquire, analyze, and evaluate data. Perform failure analysis to identify the issue and implement corrective and preventative actions. Define and develop test systems hardware and software in the laboratory environment to drive electro-mechanical device assemblies and products under test. Work closely with hardware and software team members to ensure flawless integration of test equipment, hardware, and software. Support test equipment development and upgrade activities including requirements capture, drawing development, vendor evaluation, requirement verification, and equipment validation. Using automation software languages, develop GUI driven, software/hardware systems to control test equipment, data acquisition systems and similar devices, interfacing with and incorporating a variety of sensors and actuators (pneumatic etc.) for the purpose of validating products in lab environment. Perform commissioning and deploying functional test systems for high volume production in manufacturing environment. Hybrid work permitted.

Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and Five (5) years of experience in the job offered Quality Analyst, Software Test Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. Alternately will accept: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and Two (2) years of experience. Position requires experience with the following: Knowledge on electronic hardware development, preferably embedded systems; experience in reliability and development testing in the field of electrical engineering, preferably in the power distribution industry; Knowledge of IOT communication protocols such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Wi-Fi; Experience in hardware/software integration of large systems including security requirements; Knowledge on firmware development and testing; Familiarity with programming and automation software; Industry experience developing custom electronic test equipment including system architecture, hardware design and development, requirement verification and validation; Knowledgeable in measurement and sampling techniques to accurately measure and record data using electronics measurement equipment; Knowledgeable in communication protocols used to command and automate common lab equipment such as oscilloscopes power supplies, waveform generators, logic analyzers, etc.; Experienced in the verification of test systems to show compliance to system requirements.
