Location This is an onsite role based in Orlando, FL. About the job you're considering We are seeking a highly visible Quality Automation Lead to serve as the face of the Automation Practice for a Retail/POS client engagement. This onsite leadership role requires a hands-on automation expert who can define and drive the automation vision, lead onsite-offshore teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in modern automation tools with exceptional leadership and communication skills to champion automation initiatives, optimize quality processes, and demonstrate ROI through KPIs and metrics. Your role
  • Own and drive the end-to-end automation strategy, roadmap, and execution aligned with business objectives and release timelines.
  • Act as the primary client-facing automation leader, providing clear communication on progress, risks, challenges, and mitigation plans.
  • Lead and mentor automation teams while coordinating effectively with offshore resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Design, develop, and govern scalable automation solutions across UI, API, and CI/CD pipelines using UFT, Playwright, and related technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize automation coverage, improve efficiency, and advance automation maturity across programs.
  • Define, track, and present automation KPIs, dashboards, and ROI metrics to demonstrate business value and continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation through AI/GenAI-enabled automation practices and establish modern quality engineering standards across the organization.
Your skills and experience
  • 10+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including 3+ years leading automation programs in enterprise environments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing automation teams within Retail/POS or similar customer-facing business domains.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, UFT, API Testing, Postman, and automation framework development.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Demonstrated success leading onsite-offshore delivery models and managing multiple concurrent releases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience improving automation stability, reliability, and execution efficiency.
  • Excellent client-facing communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive automation adoption.
#LI-MP1 The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $73,150 - $174,000. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
