Position Title: Territory Sales Manager

About the Role:
Keystone Cement Company is seeking a
Territory Sales Manager responsible for producing sales and increasing revenue in assigned territory consisting of southeast Pennsylvania (Lehigh Valley to Philadelphia) / Delmarva Peninsula (Delaware and eastern shore of MD). Supporting customers' needs and promoting the company throughout the market through direct involvement with industry organizations and events.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand and comply with all safety regulations, participate in regular safety training, cooperate with all external inspectors as necessary.
- Develop professional account relationships, solicit decision makers, determine proper account information, and report pertinent market details. Control receivables, handle customer complaints, and technical issues.
- Develop written reports on weekly sales activities, target account progress, customer issues, and market situations.
- Develop territory sales forecast and plan of action and work towards sales goals. Establish selling strategies based on current market conditions. Verbally convey ideas, sales issues, and market conditions.
- Communicate with company and plant representatives' relevant information impacting their area of responsibility.
- Establish new accounts, increasing market share while maintaining existing accounts. Meet or exceed established profitability standards in assigned territory.
- Provide consultative and technical assistance to both bag and bulk accounts. Provide technical support, sales/project knowledge, and industry/market information.
- Educate customers on product features, identify customer needs and provide product solutions and technical expertise.
- Maintain an unwavering commitment to the highest standards for workplace and driver safety, environmental compliance, and high-quality products and services.
Requirements:- Four-year degree business management or sales/marketing related field.
- Four years' experience in outside sales, preferably in cement, construction materials, or other related industry.
- ACI Field Testing Technician - Level 1 (If not current, must obtain within six months from start date).
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications, negotiating, and reasoning skills.
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
- Territory management experience, MS Office proficient, MS TEAMS, and Power BI.
- Must be committed to working in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with no restrictions, excellent driving record to travel to customers and company meetings with occasional overnight travel.
- Physically able to inspect job sites which may include exposure to extremes in weather, heights, climbing stairs, and uneven surfaces and wearing MSHA protective equipment when required at these sites.
- Able to lift 50lbs. to assist with samples and testing.
