Ideal Candidate Location:

Territory:
Raleigh/Durham, Greensboro, Wilmington, and Norfolk
Essential / Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Sells the entire BD/BARD Oncology product line to current and new accounts, driving adoption across oncology, interventional radiology, and related specialties.
2. Informs customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies, ensuring transparency and alignment with account needs.
3. Executes comprehensive in-service training on BD/BARD Oncology products for all relevant clinical personnel, emphasizing proper use and clinical benefits.
4. Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing territory and sales time effectively to maximize customer engagement and revenue growth.
5. Develops thorough knowledge of all products, clinical data, and oncology applications to effectively communicate value and differentiate offerings.
6. Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes, competitive activity, and emerging trends within the oncology space.
7. Achieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints, reinforcing strong, long-term relationships.
8. Analyzes customer needs and creates tailored solutions that support improved patient outcomes and procedural efficiency in oncology care.
9. Maintains company automobile and company property in accordance with company guidelines.
10. Completes and processes BDPI reports including, but not limited to, sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
1. Product knowledge and understanding of all features and benefits of BDPI products
2. Surgical and/or procedural knowledge adequate to effectively illustrate product benefits in oncology-related applications
3. Basic anatomy
4. Medical and surgical terminology
5. Thorough understanding of needs-based / consultative selling
6. Excellent listening and communication skills
7. Understanding of contract administration
Education and/or Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
2. 4 years of outside sales experience (Required)
3. Medical Device Sales experience (Preferred)
