About the Role

East West Hospitality is seeking an experienced, hands-on Temporary Human Resources Manager to support the team at Viceroy Snowmass during an anticipated three-month assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being close to the operation, building relationships with employees and leaders, and providing practical HR support in a dynamic luxury hospitality environment. The Temporary HR Manager will help ensure continuity of day-to-day HR operations while serving as a trusted resource to managers and team members throughout the property.

The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable stepping into an established operation and quickly becoming a valued partner to the team.

What You'll Do
  • What You'll Do
  • Provide day-to-day HR leadership and support for Viceroy Snowmass team members and managers.
  • Serve as an accessible and trusted resource for employee questions, concerns, workplace issues, and HR policies.
  • Coach and support managers on employee relations, performance management, documentation, and appropriate corrective action.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation activities as needed.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, communication, and retention efforts.
  • Help ensure HR practices and employment decisions are consistent with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Partner with leaders to address staffing and workplace needs in a timely, practical, and service-oriented manner.
  • Support leave administration, workers' compensation, benefits questions, and other employee matters in partnership with appropriate internal resources.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with HR reporting, administrative processes, and other HR initiatives as needed.
  • Provide consistent HR coverage and continuity throughout the temporary assignment.

About You
  • Prior Human Resources experience, preferably at the HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar level.
  • Hospitality, resort, hotel, or other high-touch service industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations and general HR practices.
  • Ability to build credibility and relationships quickly with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader HR and operational leadership team.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
  • Experience working with HRIS, applicant tracking, and related HR systems preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification is a plus.

Assignment Details

This is a temporary assignment anticipated to last approximately three months. We are seeking someone who can step in quickly, provide strong HR leadership and continuity, and become an immediate resource for the Viceroy Snowmass team.
