Role Overview:The Temenos Journey Manager Developer will be responsible for developing, configuring, and enhancing solutions on the DAO platform. This role involves building backend services, designing integration patterns, and ensuring the reliability of transaction processing for digital onboarding journeys.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and configure solutions in Temenos Journey Manager, including form orchestration and backend service logic.
- Contribute to technical solution design for onboarding journeys, including service definitions and API integration patterns.
- Build and support Java and Groovy-based backend services and business rules using Temenos Journey SDK.
- Implement reliability, monitoring, and error-handling practices for transaction processing.
- Develop REST-based integrations using Journey Manager REST APIs and middleware patterns.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies and engineering standards.
- Support code quality through unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and CI/CD pipeline usage.
Required Skills:- 5+ years of experience in application development or integration engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Temenos Journey Manager and Journey SDK.
- Proficiency in Java and Groovy for backend development and platform extensions.
- Experience with REST API integration, JSON, XML, and web services.
- Familiarity with Temenos Integration Framework (TIF).
- Experience with IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA/Eclipse) and build tools (Ant/Maven).
- Proficiency in source control and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Git).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 6-8 years of related experience.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Knowledge of Financial Services or Banking preferred.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
