Full Job Description
AFS is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer.

The Work:
  • Responsible for managing and processing telecommunications service orders within the program.
  • This role involves coordinating with vendors, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, maintaining records, and resolving order-related issues.
  • The specialist will also track order status, update stakeholders, and ensure compliance with client policies and procedures.

Here's what you need:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree (or 4 years additional equivalent work experience) in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field, and 8 years of experience in managing telecommunications development, operations, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Possesses excellent knowledge of telecom systems, including VoIP, PBX, and network infrastructure.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+)

Clearance
  • An active Secret security clearance is required
