Telecom Program Manager

We are seeking a Telecom Program Manager with extensive, expert-level experience in commercial wireless deployment. This position is responsible for client service quality, staff utilization, contract management, billing collection, and overall project profitability. The ideal candidate serves as a subject matter expert across the full lifecycle of wireless deployment—including Macro, Small Cell, DAS, OSP topologies—ensuring seamless cellular and radio coverage across complex, enterprise-grade facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Project & Financial Management: Hold full managerial responsibility for all aspects of the project scope, schedule, design, quality, staff, and profitability. Manage billing collection and contract terms.
  • Technical Oversight: Direct the preparation of zoning, construction, and RF design drawings. Coordinate engineering reviews, material take-offs, procurement, and on-time delivery.
  • Team Leadership & Safety: Supervision of a multi-disciplinary team of Engineering & Construction Managers and Coordinators. Maintain, enforce, and empower the safety program, including stopping work when unsafe practices occur.
  • Business Development: Actively sell company services, initiate and review proposals, lead sales activities, and participate in client interviews or presentations.
  • Client & Public Relations: Maintain positive relationships with current and past clients. Represent the company at meetings, presentations, and public hearings relative to assigned projects.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop less experienced engineering and management staff, training them on industry standards and technologies.
  • Operations: Manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously, both remotely and within local offices.

Working Conditions

  • Travel is required to support customer and project needs across multiple locations.

Qualifications

  • Authorization: Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Wireless Expertise: 10+ years of wireless telecommunications experience required, with a deep, proven background specializing in large-scale enterprise infrastructure.
  • Management: 5+ years of progressive Project Management experience leading large, multi-disciplinary engineering and construction teams.
  • Communication: Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Education: Engineering or Technical degree preferred.
  • Relationships: Candidate with established local client, wireless carrier, or vendor relationships preferred.

Compensation Details:

$160,000 - $175,000
