Job Description & Summary
As a Technology Strategy and Transformation, Manager (TMT), unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that'll elevate your career. We are seeking candidates with industry experience in Tech, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT). Your role will include, but isn't limited to:

  • Lead technology strategy and transformation programmes, with a focus on infrastructure, AI, data, and digital technologies across a variety of industries.
  • Gather and analyse client information to develop actionable, data-driven insights and support platform and channel strategies, adapting methods to meet the needs of diverse industry sectors.
  • Lead client engagements to understand business and technology strategies, conducting research, interviews, and hypothesis testing in support of transformation initiatives across multiple sectors.
  • Demonstrate direct experience supporting strategic transformation in technology-driven environments, including cloud, data, AI, GenAI, AIOps, and digital infrastructure.
  • Lead the identification and prioritization of business and technology requirements for clients, ensuring alignment with infrastructure and digital transformation objectives across sectors.
  • Support programme and project management by leveraging hands-on knowledge of technology transformation processes, with a focus on infrastructure and AI-driven solutions.
  • Apply strategic delivery skills to drive implementation of technology solutions-spanning infrastructure, digital, and AI-for clients in the TMT sector.
  • Deliver client projects on time and within budget, utilizing proven project management approaches and exceeding client expectations through strong team performance and stakeholder management in technology transformations.
  • Work directly with clients to integrate People, Process and Technology (Data) components into meaningful, value added solutions
  • Build and maintain effective, trusting and collaborative client relationships at multiple levels
  • Collaborate with team members at various levels to lead and develop compelling client proposals, white papers, thought leadership and point of view, describing the business challenge and proposed business and technology solutions, scope, risks and dependencies Contribute to building a strong and sustainable PwC culture through effective employee engagement, mentoring and coaching team members through timely, meaningful verbal and written feedback

  • Significant experience within Technology transformation, operations, and / or strategy
  • Significant experience with strategy and transformation in one or more of the following: infrastructure, data, AI/GenAI/Agentic, AIOps/SRE, digital
  • Prior work experience with a technology strategy consulting group or strategy and transformation within a CIO organization
  • Strong understanding of one or more business domains within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector
  • Hands on project delivery experience with technology domains including and not limited to: Core platform transformation (OSS/BSS); Cloud transformation and Data strategies; Process Automation; Agentic AI reinvention; Infrastructure (AIOps/SRE); Digitization; Full Stack Software Delivery
  • A proven track record of successful project completion and a demonstrated ability to manage client communications and expectations
  • Strong technical leadership skills and business analysis skills
  • Proactive and logical approach to information gathering with an ability to synthesize complex ideas and present information clearly and effectively
  • Capable to build relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust with clients and technical teams
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of pressing deadlines and changing conditions
  • Willingness to take initiative and assume responsibility
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard

The salary range for this position is $112,400 - $162,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
