Important: This is NOT an IT Project Manager RoleWe9re looking for a
business-focused project leader with hands-on experience in
Caterpillar (CAT) Product Link technology-not traditional IT project management.
The ideal candidate brings practical expertise in leveraging Product Link solutions across
Mining, Construction, and Power Systems, with a focus on:
- Equipment performance optimization
- Operational efficiency
- Data-driven decision-making
What You9ll Do:- Lead multiple strategic projects using Finning9s Project Management & Continuous Improvement frameworks
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to define project charters, roadmaps, and execution plans
- Deliver results aligned to business goals, timelines, and budgets
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance performance and efficiency
- Drive change management to ensure long-term adoption and success
- Mentor and support Project Leads to build internal capability
- Collaborate across teams to solve complex problems and implement sustainable solutions
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and project excellence
- Support teams with tools, reporting, and project structure best practices
- Coordinate large initiatives alongside the Process Improvement Manager
What You Bring:- 3+ years of project management experience (business improvement/change management focus)
- 5+ years of progressive business experience (consulting is a plus)
- Experience or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, or Process Improvement
- Strong understanding of project management and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with CAT Product Link technology (highly preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
- Familiarity with Caterpillar operations is an asset
