Full Job Description
We are seeking a Technology & Innovation (T&I) Program and Portfolio Manager who is responsible for driving visibility, alignment, and execution across Americhem's global T&I project portfolio. This role ensures that innovation efforts are prioritized, balanced, and resourced effectively across segments and regions. The position serves as a centralized coordination point between T&I, Commercial, and Operational stakeholders to manage labor tracking, pipeline planning, dashboarding, and communication routines. By enabling better cross-functional decision-making, this role helps accelerate speed-to-market and improve overall innovation productivity.

Responsibilities

Project & Portfolio Coordination
  • Maintain visibility of the global T&I project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, timelines, and resource availability.
  • Facilitate regular portfolio reviews and project prioritization meetings with T&I and segment leadership.
  • Track project status, milestone adherence, risk factors, and corrective actions in coordination with project owners.

Resource Management
  • Monitor labor utilization across regions, functions, and growth platforms to optimize capacity planning.
  • Support T&I leaders in workload balancing, staffing needs, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Development teams to maintain accurate labor reports and forecasts.
  • Train the broader T&I team on advanced statistics and design of experiment methodologies.

Systems & Reporting
  • Own and update centralized dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to drive visibility and accountability in T&I execution.
  • Continuously improve processes and tools that enable timely decision-making, risk mitigation, and efficient project execution.

Communication & Change Support
  • Act as liaison between technical, commercial, and operational teams to ensure portfolio decisions are clearly communicated and implemented.
  • Support functional leaders with meeting facilitation, document preparation, and follow-ups related to innovation programs.
  • Assist with change management initiatives that impact the innovation pipeline or T&I structure.
