BASIC PURPOSE:

Implements and assists in the management of all departmental system applications. Performs test functions for all departmental projects. Works closely with project team to help identify business requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conducts analysis to properly execute adjustments for all issues pertaining to the accuracy of advances, letter of credits, and stock.
  • Performs user acceptance testing to validate performance, output of system upgrades, software, code changes, new functionality, patches, new products, and data changes before they are deployed to production. Executes and monitors test cases to ensure there is proper documentation of all user acceptance testing results
  • Provides technical expertise and guidance regarding departmental systems
  • Assists in the development, design, and maintenance of all system templates, confirmations, and forms used to facilitate the daily transactions of the department.
  • Maintains user guides, training materials, and procedure manuals.
  • Assists in the evaluation of current processes looking for inconsistencies and possible process improvements. Helps to develop and implement solutions to streamline departmental business processes to achieve departmental and bank wide goals more effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist with the analysis of systems and procedures to develop appropriate specifications for new products, policy and procedural changes, and regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Works alongside the system manager and/or transactional team to develop proper controls and system maintenance.
  • Educates and trains staff on newly developed systems and modifications to existing systems.
  • Provides backup and support to transactional team members as needed including daily processing and validating of all Shareholder transactions regarding stock, advances, letter of credit, wire security, mergers and membership


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Strong analytical, computing, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be customer service oriented, detail oriented, well organized, and able to work within time constraints, and handle multiple unrelated projects simultaneously with limited supervision.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft-based computing applications is required
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or technology-related field and three years of experience dealing with financial institutions or employed by a financial institution with an understanding of financial operations, financial instruments, financial systems, and knowledge of capital market and/or derivatives, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

Work Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Atlanta, GA office. This position may not be filled in New Jersey, either in-person or remotely.

Work Schedule: Onsite with an opportunity to work remote partially.
