Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

  • Execute maintenance and calibration activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness. 

  • Prepare tools, materials, and spare parts required for planned maintenance activities. 

  • Identify, manage, and maintain spare parts inventory to support uninterrupted operations. 

  • Perform work orders according to approved procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements. 

  • Support commissioning and technical projects to improve equipment performance and reliability. 

  • Update maintenance records and documentation within computerized maintenance management systems. 

  • Promote compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice, safety, and environmental standards. 

Essential Requirements 

  • Experience performing maintenance, calibration, or troubleshooting activities within a manufacturing environment. 

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements and regulated operating environments. 

  • Ability to execute work orders following established procedures and quality standards. 

  • Strong understanding of safety principles and environmental compliance requirements. 

  • Experience collaborating across teams to support operational and maintenance objectives. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, for data tracking and reporting. 

Desirable Requirements 

  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems for work order and asset management. 

  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance principles and continuous improvement practices. 

 

 

Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary: 

The salary for this position is expected to range between $37.02 and $68.75 per hourly. 

 

The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. 

 

Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. 

US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
