Full Job Description
Position Summary: Drives the development, collaboration, editing, review, approval, and publication of process and policy documentation in support of teams and services. Develops, edits, and maintains technical, executive, governance, analytical, and stakeholder-facing documentation supporting Federal agency coordination activities. Ensures compliance with government style guides and Section 508 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and edit white papers, reports, memoranda, executive correspondence, briefings, and meeting summaries into easy to read comprehensive, compliant, and compelling documents.
  • Interact with technical team members for content development.
  • Perform technical editing, proofreading, formatting, QA/QC, and version control.
  • Produce Section 508-compliant documents and publications.
  • Prepare meeting notes and records.
  • Maintain templates and document management logs.
  • Coordinate reviews and adjudicate comments from stakeholders.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 4+ years of technical writing/editing experience.
  • US Citizenship required by federal contract.


Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience supporting federal programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Previous DHS or CISA experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate on a team in a dynamic environment, absorb and apply mission knowledge, and have a mindset of learning and continuous improvement.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$61,232.00 - $104,094.00
