Overview Turn complex cloud and cybersecurity engineering into clear, mission-ready documentation. You will support the cyber engineering team on a federal enterprise cloud program, producing the guides, briefings, and technical publications that keep the DoD's enterprise cloud program moving.
Locations Arlington, VA (Crystal City); Fort Meade, MD; Chambersburg, PA (Letterkenny Army Depot); Ogden, UT (Hill AFB); or Oklahoma City, OK (Tinker AFB). On-site at a Government facility; limited local telework of unclassified work with Government approval
How You'll Make an Impact - Draft and maintain documents, diagrams, briefing slides, training materials, and meeting records.
- Translate technical information into clear, readable products for technical and executive audiences.
- Develop user guidance, installation guidance, functional descriptions, and system specifications with SME collaboration.
- Coordinate online documentation using help-authoring tools and content management systems.
- Track multiple documentation tasks and timelines; provide status updates to the Government.
What You'll Need to Join the Team - Associate's degree, OR 3 years total experience writing documentation for DoD or federal IT systems and programs.
- Active Secret clearance (T3 investigation; interim acceptable at start).
What Sets You Apart - Experience documenting cybersecurity or cloud programs (RMF artifacts, SOPs, CONOPS).
- Proficiency with Confluence, SharePoint, and help-authoring/content management tools.
- Familiarity with DoD correspondence standards and CUI marking requirements.
Certifications (examples of approved options) None required - no DoD 8140 requirements currently apply to this role.
