THE WORK
The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking a level 3 Technical Trainer to work from our Huntsville, AL location. You will be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.

Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

As a member of the NGI team, you will perform plans, develops, and implements technical product training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel. Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules. Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.

Conducts training sessions, product demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. May administer tests. Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course material reflect product features, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. May include military trainers.

Basic Qualifications
• Previous experience in coursewear writing and development within the US Military, DoD Logistics environment or a commercial division supporting duties relating to government.
• Platform Instructor with, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence and act as change agent.
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Desired skills
• Served as an instructor/course writer, training developer supporting Air Force minuteman program, ICBM or
• Experience with development, editing, and reviewing of Program of instruction (POI).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $80,400 - $139,380. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
