Job Description:

The Impact You'll Make

As our Technical Engineer - Electric Heating, you'll play a key role in supporting the growth of Danfoss electric heating products across the USA and Canada.

Your impact? You'll be the primary technical contact for customers, delivering accurate quotes and take-offs, providing application support, and driving sales growth through proactive outreach and strong relationships. Your expertise will help increase specification rates, expand product adoption, and achieve sales targets while enabling customers to implement safe, efficient, and innovative heating solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, material take-offs, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams for residential and commercial projects.
  • Provide expert technical support to contractors, distributors, engineers, and agents, including product selection, system design, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions (virtual and in-person) to showcase solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to track performance, analyse data, and prepare technical reports.
  • Maintain technical documentation such as datasheets, installation guides, diagrams, and presentations.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 4-8 years of industry experience; electric heating experience highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a technical engineer or in the construction sector.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong understanding of electrical principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to travel 10-15% domestically.
