About the TeamThe primary purpose of the Technical Specialist role is to provide technical expertise to internal teams. The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to, technical, training and clinical support for Core Lab analysts, complaint handling and contributing to process improvements of analysis.
About the OpportunityReporting to the CCTA QC Assessment Lead, the Technical Specialist will contribute to many critical tasks in the daily operations of the Core Lab, including:
- Managing analysis escalations
- Providing Training to Analysts
- Perform root cause analysis during complaint process
- 3 month expectations: Completed training for essential skills for the role, including:
- Cleerly software
- Advanced Pathology
- Work Instructions and Standardizations
- Participating in complaint root cause analysis
- 12 month expectations:
- Independently manage analysis escalations in a busy environment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all other Core Lab departments(IS, PHO and Training)
- Effectively communicate feedback to analysts
- Independently lead root cause analysis of complaints
- Perform analysis as needed
Responsibilities- 60%: Provide clinical support for escalated commercial and research exams; Serves as a first escalation point and peer review discussion
- 15%: Assist with analyst training (shadowing/content creation)
- 15%: Analyze commercial or research exams as needed
- 10%: Perform root cause analysis on complaints (discordances)
Requirements- Degree in Medical Sciences, preferably Radiography;
- Bachelor's degree or applicable CT experience(>5 years);
- Technical and clinical experience in CTA Coronary Post processing (minimum of 2 years preferred);
- Minimum 2 years CCTA experience;
- Excellent communication skills
This role requires expertise in coronary CTA analysis, including coronary anatomy and advanced understanding of pathology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must for this highly collaborative role.
Must be located in the US
Must be fluent in English and medical terminology. Must be able to cover evening or weekend shifts as needed.

CompensationThe base salary range for this role varies by location and is aligned to market benchmarks.
- Candidates located in higher-cost labor markets, including California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Washington, DC represent the middle to high end of the range, while candidates located in all other U.S. locations represent the low to middle end of the range.
- Final compensation is determined based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
This role is eligible for a
10% target annual bonus, resulting in the following
base salary and
Total Target Compensation (TTC) ranges:
- Base Salary: $83,000 - $100,000
- TTC: $91,300 - $110,000
