What You Will Do:

The objectives of the Technical SETA are to assist with the coordination, monitoring, communication, and integration of all technical aspects of the Program lifecycle that includes:

  • Attend meetings, workshops, conferences and testing events as a Subject Matter Expert

  • Assist with the development of presentations such as Program Management Reviews

  • Serve as a Liaison between Performers, Test & Evaluation contributors, Government and Transition partners

  • Review, provide analysis, and make recommendations concerning technical reports, data and Performer approaches

  • Select, establish, curate, and maintain collaborative communication, issue tracking, and configuration environments for use by the program

  • Provide reach-back support for program related requirements for systems integration, design, development, modeling and simulation, data analytics and architecture design

  • Examine data sources and literary sources for emerging technology related to the Program

  • Provide technical support and expertise on new concepts beyond the Program but integral to the Program’s success

 What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelors' degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, applied physics, or a related technical field

  • FOUR (4) or more years of experience involving one or more of the following: wireless communications systems and protocol development, RF engineering and antenna systems, signal processing for communication waveforms

  • TWO (2) or more years of experience using test and measurement equipment relevant to advanced communication technologies, such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, or RF test platforms

  • TWO (2) or more year of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team, including creating program plans, work breakdown structures, and milestone schedules

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Masters' degree or PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, applied physics, or a related technical field, with four plus (4+) years of work experience

  • FOUR (4) or more years of experience with programming languages or tools commonly used in communications R&D, such as GNU Radio, Redhawk, LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or embedded systems software

  • TWO (2) or more years of experience with applying machine learning, deep learning, or advanced statistical signal processing to communications tasks

  • TWO (2) or more years of experience in the Intelligence Community (IC), including experience with requirements, CONOPS, and transition

  • Awareness of supply‑chain security and integration considerations for communications hardware, RF subsystems, antenna components, and SDR‑based systems

  • FOUR (4) or more years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team

  • ONE (1) or more year of experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager

The annual salary range for this position is $100,100.00-$150,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
