  • Pay Range: $87,500 to $105,000
    *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Job Summary

At Canteen, we combine innovation and service excellence to power workplace dining and refreshment solutions. As a Technical Services Manager, you will lead the branch's service team, overseeing technicians and installers to ensure equipment is installed, maintained, and operating at peak performance. This role is critical to delivering reliable service, maximizing equipment uptime, and supporting overall client satisfaction and business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians and installers, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee all service operations, including repairs, installations, removals, refurbishments, and preventive maintenance programs
  • Monitor productivity, response times, first-call resolution, and equipment uptime to ensure service excellence
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders in accordance with company standards
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to resolve service issues and strengthen customer relationships
  • Manage department inventory, including parts, tools, service vehicles, and equipment assets
  • Control costs through effective inventory practices and resource management
  • Analyze operational and financial metrics to improve productivity and department performance
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company policies, including OSHA, DOT, and food equipment standards
  • Conduct safety meetings, audits, and incident reviews, driving corrective action as needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Warehouse, and Customer Service to support growth and retention


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience managing technicians, field service, or maintenance teams
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in vending, micro market, coffee, refrigeration, or related equipment
  • Experience managing work orders, schedules, inventory, and service performance metrics
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Ability to travel locally and work in field or warehouse environments as needed
  • EPA Type I Refrigeration Certification preferred
