Job Summary

Oversee a team of 10-15+ technical Professional Services Consultants and subcontractors delivering deployment, upgrade, and strategic security engagements across the Palo Alto Networks Cortex product suite. Drive business growth through pre-sales, Level of Effort (LOE) estimation, and Statement of Work (SOW) creation while maintaining project milestones, revenue targets, billable utilization, and high customer satisfaction (CSAT).

Core Responsibilities
  • People & Operations Leadership: Lead daily activities for 10-15+ multi-disciplined consultants, including hiring, career development, capacity scheduling, performance management, and promotions.
  • Engagement & Quality Delivery: Oversee end-to-end service execution across SOC operations, Endpoint protection, Threat Mitigation, Cloud Posture, Runtime, AppSec, and Automation workstreams.
  • Pre-Sales & Business Growth: Partner with Sales and Account teams to scope engagements, generate SOWs, estimate LOEs, and pitch specialized consulting and automation packages.
  • Customer & Escalation Management: Build strategic client relationships, serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical or operational issues, and safeguard project timelines.
  • Partner & Subcontractor Management: Onboard, train, and manage third-party partners and contractors to integrate external talent while enforcing internal quality standards.
  • Enablement & Practice Strategy: Partner with the PMO on project planning, contribute to new service offering operationalization, and expand technical training content for internal teams.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Domain Expertise
  • Leadership Experience: Leading large complex projects of technical resources; 3+ years delivering or supporting enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
  • Security & Operations Domain: In-depth knowledge of SOC environments, Incident Response practices, Critical Security Controls, security engineering, SOAR operations, endpoint protection, and threat mitigation.
  • Cloud & DevOps Expertise: Practical knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, orchestration, application security (AppSec), and CI/CD DevOps workflows.
  • Product & Systems Familiarity: Base knowledge of the Palo Alto Networks Cortex product suite and proficiency in key operational tools including Salesforce (SFDC), Clarizen, and G-Suite.
  • Education & Travel: Undergraduate or Master's degree (Computer Engineering, MBA, or related technical field preferred). Ability to travel up to 20% across North America.
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, PMP, CCSP, or CISM.


Hiring Multiple Positions - Additional Requirements for these roles:

Cloud: Experience driving the execution of Cortex Cloud deployment or upgrade engagements across Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection (CWPP), Application Security, and/or Cortex Cloud Automation workstreams.

Public Sector: 3+ years of experience leading government customer engagements, with a strong understanding of public sector procurement, compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA, FAR), and federal/SLED account growth strategies.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
