Full Job Description
Technical Sales Scientist - Protein Engineering

Are you a scientist who can walk into a room of discovery researchers or IP attorneys and earn their trust? Do you have experience closing deals for a commercial product? Join Integral Molecular as a Technical Sales Scientist where you will own commercial development for our Protein Engineering (PE) platform, independently prospecting, closing, and delivering customer projects.

What you will do at Integral Molecular
  • Prospect and convert biotech, pharma, and IP accounts through outbound outreach and conferences, vetting technical feasibility and risk with the scientific team first.
  • Partner with the product manager to set revenue targets by market and customer persona, and own attainment of those targets.
  • Serve as the technical SME on all pre- and post-sale customer discussions; master the PE platform well enough to run calls independently without senior support
  • Manage active customer projects end-to-end: status updates, timeline management, and deliverable coordination through final report
  • QC and co-deliver final customer data reports, ensuring outputs are scientifically accurate and on-scope
  • Own CRM hygiene, pipeline forecasting, and opportunity tracking in Salesforce; contribute a short-term commercial forecast
  • Represent Integral Molecular externally - at conferences, in webinars, presentations and bring market intelligence back to scientific and product leaders

The ideal candidate will have
  • Prior life sciences commercial experience: BD, sales, or application scientist role
  • Proven ability to prospect, manage a pipeline, and close - not just support sales is desired
  • Scientific storyteller: ability to translate complex science into value-driven business conversations.
  • Comfortable presenting science to diverse buyers: discovery scientists, BD leaders, IP counsel
  • PhD in biological sciences or related STEM field

If you find this position appealing, please submit a resume and cover letter that outlines your interest in our company, your relevant experiences for this role, and salary expectations.
