DescriptionRoles OverviewAs part of its international expansion, BOLAB Systems GmbH is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to establish and grow its customer base in the United States. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in generating new business, building strong relationships with prospective clients, and creating awareness for BOLAB's solutions in signal and power electronics testing. The ideal candidate combines strong sales acumen with a solid technical background in power electronics.
Core Responsibilities- Drive the development of BOLAB's customer base in the US with a primary focus on new customer acquisition.
- Identify, target, and qualify new sales opportunities within key industries such as automotive, aerospace, and research institutions.
- Promote BOLAB's product portfolio, including power electronics test systems, through technical presentations and direct sales activities.
- Develop and execute a structured sales strategy for the US market, in close coordination with the BOLAB HQ in Germany.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and technical stakeholders.
- Provide pre-sales support including solution proposals, technical documentation, and pricing.
- Represent BOLAB at industry events, trade shows, and customer visits across North America.
- Establish the local sales structure and provide input into the future growth of BOLAB's US presence.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product and strategy development.
- Report regularly on sales pipeline, performance, and market insights to the BOLAB leadership team.
What are we looking for?- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, ideally with a focus on Power Electronics.
- Professional experience in B2B technical sales or business development.
- Proven ability to independently develop new customer relationships and open up new markets.
- Strong understanding of power electronics systems or automated test equipment (ATE).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High degree of self-motivation, entrepreneurial thinking, and ability to work autonomously.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
- Experience working with international teams and in cross-cultural environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
- Willingness to travel frequently within the US.

- Valid US work authorization and driver's license required.
