Full Job Description
What you'll do
  • Generate and qualify leads forsubsequent development. This includesproviding technical presentations to structural engineering firms, conductingface to face meetings, and attending industry meetings and conferences.
  • Manage the business development effort.With the support of management, define and execute sales strategies and tacticsto meet or exceed annual sales plans and quotas.
  • Collaborate with internal engineeringteam and external clients to develop innovative strengthening and repairsolutions.
  • Perform key account planning toidentify, develop, and close business opportunities in support of business planand strategic objectives. Maintain favorable business relationships with keyaccounts (structural engineers, general contractors and certified applicators).
  • Cultivate a comprehensive understandingof the technical solutions offered by Fyfe's Tyfo products and services.
  • Conduct sales calls and make product / service presentations to meet customerneeds.
  • Review and understand bid documents onopportunities pursued in territory. Provide input into the design process,optimize pricing, and develop relationships to acquire and execute profitable orders.
  • Fully utilize company CRM (SalesForce)to provide accurate forecasting and resource allocation.
  • Generate market and competitorintelligence and perform market analysis to drive territory sales growth.
  • Develop technical specifications thatsupport product position, proper bidding requirements and ensures successfulproject completion.
  • Spearhead management of customerservice and achieve customer satisfaction. Ensure prompt investigation ofclient concerns and provide problem resolutions or referral to appropriatepersonnel.
  • Remain current on sales performance andprovide sales reports as required. Provide ongoing status reports to detailactivity to include factored sales forecast, orders report, and backlog report.

  • 3+ years' experience as aConsulting Engineer in structural engineering environment.

  • Trainable & coachablein professional selling techniques.
  • Client focused and strongstructural engineering background.
  • Ability to work withpresentation software.
  • Microsoft Office skills(Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Up to 50% travel by automobile andairplane required.

The salary rangefor this role is $100,000.00 and $130,000.00. This range represents the good-faith minimumand maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at thetime of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligiblefor incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. TheCompany also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actualcompensation will be based on factors such as the candidate's skills,experience, education, training, and work location.
