Role OverviewAutonomize AI is looking for a
Technical Recruiter to help scale our engineering and AI teams from our
Austin HQ. In this role, you'll own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact technical positions-partnering closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, build strong candidate pipelines, and deliver an exceptional hiring experience from first outreach through close. You'll play a key role in shaping how we attract, assess, and hire top talent as we continue to grow.
You'll bring a thoughtful, data-driven approach to recruiting-balancing speed and quality while building relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and energized by sourcing and engaging hard-to-find talent in competitive markets. Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for key technical roles, including: Full Stack Engineers, ML Engineers, DevOps & QA Engineers and any other technical hiring requirement that may come up as we grow.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand hiring priorities and shape recruiting strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline through creative sourcing and networking across platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and professional communities.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Autonomize AI's mission and culture.
- Manage interview coordination, feedback loops, and offer negotiations efficiently and transparently.
- Track and report recruiting metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
Must Have Qualifications- 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience , preferably in high-growth tech or startup environments.
- Proven success in hiring across software engineering, AI, and data-related roles .
- Deep understanding of technical stacks, modern development practices, and AI/ML talent markets.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms , sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.), and recruitment analytics.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High sense of ownership, adaptability, and a passion for building great teams.
