Technical Project Manager RACF mainframe Security
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
This role is for a Project Manager to manage the RACF Directory Services work for mainframe security tooling and project execution. The ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge of RACF related products, and Mainframe infrastructure. The candidate should have a strong analytical, organizational and communication skills. The team works closely with the other mainframe infrastructure teams as well as other security platform owners and application developers. Additionally, this role will work with compliance and auditors when needed.
• At least 6 to 9 years of related work experience with RACF and Mainframe
• Program/Project management experience developing and managing complex interdependent programs/projects/products.
• Experience with RACF for z/OS.
• Experience with z/OS utilities and facilities (such as: TSO, ISPF, SDSF)
• Understanding of database technology (such as: DB2, SQL, MS SQL, PostGRE SQL)
• Understanding of Mainframe security monitoring, automation, and reporting tools like zSecure, compliance manager, Multifactor Authentication.
• Knowledge of implementing Digital Certificates, encryption, MFA.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Assist the RACF mainframe Security Architecture and engineering in develop technical solutions, and testing.
• Assessing technical feasibility of proposals to achieve the security requirement utilizing various tooling and process.
• Work with various technology and security teams (such as application development, other security product owners, systems programming, DBA, IMS, MQ, business users, and auditors) on their requirements for design and implementation of solutions.
• Support and co-ordinate with mainframe team project managers on initiatives related to Mainframe security (such as role-based security, privileged access, sensitive data protection, etc.), and automation (tooling, reports, utilities, and batch).
• Drive creation and management of RACF Directory Services Metrics, Controls, SOPs and compliance plans.
• Build status reports for program leadership and visuals where needed.
• Manage and track project dependencies, work breakdown structure, resource allocation, sprint and PI planning for RDS initiatives.
Salary Range- $120,000-$125,000 a year
