Full Job Description
Reporting to:Project Management Lead

About the RoleAre you a technically-minded project manager who thrives on delivering complex projects? At Pugpig, you'll work hands-on with some of the world's leading media brands to launch apps built on our established digital publishing platform. You'll be the primary point of contact for your clients throughout delivery, collaborating daily with developers, designers and stakeholders to deliver exceptional work on time and on budget.

This is a particularly important role as we build on our exceptional momentum in the US market and continue to scale our growth.

Key responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of your projects, from scoping and planning through to launch, collaborating with Pugpig's product and development teams throughout
  • Be the client's primary day-to-day contact during delivery, building strong working relationships, sometimes across multiple stakeholders, while the Customer Success Manager holds the longer-term commercial relationship
  • Define and manage project plans, timelines, milestones and budgets, flagging risks early and proactively, and keeping stakeholders informed at every stage
  • Run structured project kick-offs, status meetings and retrospectives to keep momentum, making sure every meeting ends with clear decisions, owners and next steps
  • Proactively manage risk and dependencies, keeping a living log with clear owners, triggers and mitigations
  • Hold the line on scope, logging changes and translating their impact on time, cost and quality into clear options and recommendations
  • Play a key role in the Professional Services team, contributing to budget tracking, resourcing, timesheeting and invoicing processes that keep the wider team running smoothly
  • Embrace AI as a practical working tool, using it to improve how we plan, document and communicate, and spot opportunities to reduce manual effort across the team's processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve how we work and proactively propose solutions. Be prepared to challenge our thinking, your ideas matter

About you

You'll be great at managing processes, building relationships and delivering outcomes. You're someone who takes real ownership, stays calm when things get complex, and brings clarity to the people around you. You thrive in a small, dynamic company where your work has genuine impact.

You'll have these skills and qualities:
  • An owner's mindset, treating the scope, budget, timeline and quality of your projects as yours to protect. You have the mindset and skills to independently drive your projects forward
  • Calm under pressure, reducing noise for the team and bringing focus when it matters most
  • Comfortable with project financials, tracking burn, forecasting cost to completion and articulating the cost of delay when trade-offs need to be made
  • You keep delivery visible and honest, tracking actual progress against plan, clearing blockers before they become crises, and making sure your tools reflect reality
  • Customer-centric: you love speaking to customers, understanding and solving their problems.

You'll have at least two years' experience in project management or delivery, ideally in a SaaS, agency or tech environment. If you've delivered digital projects for media or publishing clients, either agency or client side, that's a real bonus. You're certainly tech savvy, with a genuine interest in software development and products. An interest in media, publishing or content technology is a real plus. You'll quickly become an expert in our world and work directly with some of the most exciting media brands out there.

It would also be advantageous (but not crucial) if you have experience with:
  • WordPress (or any other CMS)
  • Mobile apps
  • Design/UX processes
  • Basic ad tech and analytics (including GA, GTM & GAM)
  • Jira (or similar tools)
  • Managing the whole project lifecycle, including source control and releasing from Dev to Stage to Prod

If this role sounds like a great fit, get in touch with us, we'd love to hear from you!
