Full Job Description
The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the company's technical projects of all types, staying involved for each stage of development, from idea to design to their completion. The program manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. This position involves tracking technical issues and finding solutions for problems that may arise but also leading the creation and presentation of comprehensive proposals, ensuring alignment with customer needs, and capturing and facilitating success of new programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Responsibility Breakdown:

Program Oversight & Strategy (40%)

Maintain deep awareness of all activities within the building
Translate high-level (10K-100K ft) perspectives into actionable, efficient plans
Communication & Coordination (30%)

Manage ongoing email correspondence, including outside standard business hours
Serve as a central communication hub across departments
Team Leadership (20%)

Directly manage 1-2 reports across:
Sales / Business Development
Engineering
Development
Customer Engagement & Travel (10%)

Attend design reviews and customer meetings
Travel is 90% domestic (U.S.), with 1-2 opportunities for international travel within North America

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree (preferably in a STEM field)
7+ years of total professional experience
5+ years in program or project management
Strong grasp of technical concepts and ability to think quickly and strategically
Solid understanding of financial principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Valid passport
Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite
Prior experience managing direct reports (team lead experience acceptable)
