Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Technical Project Manager III in the Commercial & Investment Bank Healthcare Payments Technology team, you will partner directly with the Application Owner to drive the successful, secure and well-governed delivery of a strategic healthcare payments platform. You will help break down complex security, compliance, and engineering objectives into manageable tasks, coordinate cross-functional remediation, and keep risk, audit, and release commitments on track. Leveraging your understanding of technical principles and the software delivery lifecycle, you will support vulnerability and findings remediation (FARM), problem and change management, PDLC/SDLC governance, and stakeholder reporting. Your analytical reasoning and adaptability will help you navigate ambiguity, while your strong communication and stakeholder-management skills will keep engineering, product, operations, audit, and leadership aligned. You will contribute to operational plans and risk-management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with the Application Owner to analyze and break down complex security, technical, and operational objectives into manageable, trackable tasks, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Support end-to-end remediation of FARM (Findings & Risk Management) security findings — triaging by severity (S1–S5) and SLA, coordinating fixes with engineering teams, tracking due dates, and driving findings to closure.
  • Help manage the vulnerability remediation program — CVE and dependency findings across the codebase — by prioritizing risk, coordinating upgrades, and maintaining clear status and evidence trails.
  • Assist with PDLC/SDLC governance — tracking releases, sprint health, commit trends, and delivery milestones; helping maintain Jira workflows, automation rules, and project governance for the InstaMed program.
  • Support Problem and Change Management activities, including coordinating ServiceNow change requests, tracking incidents and problem records, and ensuring follow-through on corrective actions.
  • Produce clear, concise, and compelling status communications and dashboards across varied mediums — executive summaries, Confluence pages, Excel/PowerPoint reports, and email — translating technical detail for non-technical and leadership audiences.
  • Participate in stakeholder management, fostering productive working relationships with cross-functional engineering, product, operations, audit, and business stakeholders to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Assist in risk management by helping make informed, well-documented decisions in line with the firm's risk-management practices and policies, ensuring program success and compliance.
  • Help optimize allocated resources — people, time, and tooling — to plan, schedule, and progress remediation and delivery initiatives, including supporting automation that reduces manual effort.
  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate project planning and risk synthesis (e.g., drafting plans, RAID, and status narratives), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
  • Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for project governance artifacts and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program/project management, supporting complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support technical program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
  • Proven ability to use analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break objectives down into manageable tasks and track them to completion.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and a functional understanding of the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC/PDLC), application security concepts, and risk/findings management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical content into clear, concise updates for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders and establishing productive working relationships with cross-functional teams, clients, and program governance.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Financial Services or healthcare payments background.
  • Familiarity with security and risk concepts — vulnerability/CVE remediation, FARM or equivalent findings systems, and audit/compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, HITRUST).
  • Exposure to cloud (AWS), CI/CD, and Bitbucket/Git-based development workflows.
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python) and AI tools such as Claude Code and LLMs to streamline reporting and remediation workflows.
  • Advanced PowerPoint, dashboarding, and data-visualization skills.
