Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of technology initiatives across the Healthcare Payer ecosystem, with a strong focus on the TriZetto FACETS Core Administration Platform. The role will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, cross-functional team leadership, and successful delivery of development, modernization, upgrade, enhancement, and support programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong Healthcare Payer domain expertise, FACETS knowledge, and experience managing complex technology programs while partnering with business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead multiple concurrent projects involving FACETS application development, enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and production support.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders, product teams, architecture, engineering, QA, and operations teams.
• Drive Agile and/or Waterfall project execution methodologies to support successful and timely delivery.
• Facilitate project planning, sprint reviews, release management, and executive status reporting.
• Ensure project objectives remain aligned with business priorities and strategic goals.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams.
• Manage cross-functional teams operating across onshore and offshore delivery models.
• Support change management, production deployment planning, and post-implementation stabilization activities.
• Establish project governance, delivery metrics, and reporting mechanisms.
• Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders, vendors, and healthcare business partners.
• Manage vendor and client relationships throughout project delivery.
Required Qualifications
• 12+ years of IT industry experience.
• 5+ years of Healthcare Payer domain experience.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale software development and support projects.
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple locations.
• Strong experience with the TriZetto FACETS Core Administration Platform.
• Deep understanding of Healthcare Payer operations, including claims processing, membership and enrollment, provider management, and billing and premium management.
• Experience delivering application development projects.
• Experience managing system upgrades and modernization programs.
• Experience managing application support and maintenance initiatives.
• Experience managing production support engagements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent project planning, execution, and governance capabilities.
• Strong risk, issue, dependency, and change management expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with large healthcare organizations.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar delivery management tools.
Certifications
• PMP certification preferred.
• Agile/Scrum certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent preferred.
