Job Summary
The Technical Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of medium-sized IT modernization, technology upgrade, and Guidewire-related projects within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The role will coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners while managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. The position will support Guidewire Policy and Claims platforms as well as broader application modernization, integration, migration, and technology upgrade initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of medium-sized IT upgrade, modernization, migration, and Guidewire projects.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, issues, and deliverables.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, application, QA, business, and vendor teams.
• Coordinate technology upgrades, application modernization, integrations, migrations, and platform enhancements.
• Support Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and related technical initiatives.
• Translate business and technical requirements into actionable project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Facilitate project status meetings, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including technology partners and implementation vendors.
• Maintain project documentation, governance, reporting, and delivery standards.
• Drive issue resolution and escalate critical risks and decisions appropriately.
• Support testing, release, deployment, and post-production activities as required.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in IT or software delivery environments.
• Strong experience working on Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance projects.
• Experience managing technical IT upgrade, modernization, migration, or application enhancement projects.
• Hands-on project experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance processes, particularly Policy and Claims.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing project schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and deliverables.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications
• Guidewire certification or formal Guidewire project experience.
• Experience with Guidewire upgrades, implementations, integrations, or modernization initiatives.
• Experience with cloud migration, application modernization, APIs, data migration, or enterprise technology upgrades.
• Experience working with third-party technology vendors and implementation partners.

Certifications
• PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certification.
