Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead Azure Government cloud and infrastructure deployments supporting mission-critical federal systems across classified and unclassified environments.
This role requires a technically fluent leader who understands secure cloud architecture and can drive disciplined execution in regulated, RMF-governed environments.
This is not a generic PM role. You must understand cloud engineering, infrastructure lifecycles, and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end cloud deployments across DEV / TEST / PROD environments
- Develop and manage detailed technical project plans and schedules
- Coordinate architecture, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams
- Drive risk management, issue resolution, and mitigation strategies
- Track environment provisioning, VM builds, container deployments, and integrations
- Manage change control and release management processes
- Support RMF lifecycle activities and ATO milestones
- Ensure documentation, diagrams, and compliance artifacts are delivered on time
- Facilitate technical design reviews and stakeholder briefings
- Coordinate Azure OpenAI enablement activities within secure environments
- Provide executive-level reporting to technical and government stakeholders
Required Skills- 5+ years technical project management experience
- Experience managing Azure or cloud infrastructure deployments
- Strong understanding of:
- Dev/Test/Prod lifecycle management
- VM-based infrastructure
- Containerized deployments
- Enterprise integration patterns
- Familiarity with RMF, ICD 503, and NIST 800-53
- Experience operating in highly regulated federal environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
