Job Description

Seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery and modernization of Global Reconciliation Platform. The role will manage a team of Spark/Scala Data Engineers, oversee BAU and transformation initiatives, and drive the development of scalable reconciliation solutions that support operational controls, exception management, data integrity, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will combine strong delivery leadership, data engineering expertise, and a solid understanding of reconciliation platforms within Banking and Financial Services.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of Spark/Scala Data Engineers responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting Global Reconciliation Platform.
- Drive delivery of BAU, platform modernization, regulatory, and strategic transformation initiatives, including migration from on-premises platforms to AWS Cloud.
- Demonstrates strong architectural and technology acumen, with the ability to engage effectively with Solution Architects, and Data Engineering teams to shape solution designs, influence technical decisions, and ensure alignment between business objectives, platform strategy, and cloud migration goals.
- Partner with Product Managers, Operations, Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders to deliver reconciliation capabilities that support financial controls, account substantiation, and exception management processes.
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable data processing, reconciliation, matching, and exception management solutions for high-volume financial data.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Engineering teams to define target-state architectures and cloud-native solutions aligned with technology strategy.
- Manage Agile delivery, sprint execution, release planning, resource management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Ensure platform stability, operational excellence, SLA adherence, and timely resolution of production issues impacting reconciliation processes.
- Drive engineering best practices, automation, code quality, performance optimization, and observability across the platform.
- Mentor and guide Data Engineers while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in Technology Delivery, Data Engineering, or Technical Project Management within Banking or Financial Services.
- Proven experience leading teams of Spark, Scala Engineers.
- Strong understanding of reconciliation platforms, financial controls, transaction lifecycles, exception management, and operational risk processes.

Good to have

- understanding of AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise data architectures, distributed data processing, and cloud transformation programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across Business, Operations, Risk, and Technology organizations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 105,456- 120,209

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
