Full Job Description
This hybrid position is required onsite Tuesday-Thursday, in Arlington, VA, and there is no relocation assistance associated provided with this role Description Responsible for the efficient, effective, flawless delivery of strategic Innovation and Renovation projects: Manage cross-functional project teams with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for operational excellence, to achieve the project-defined Key Success Criteria and deliver against the business needs. Promote the I2L Mindset. Primary Responsibilities: • Apply project management tools and skills to ensure the on-time, on-scope, and on quality-delivery of the project with flawless execution from concept to close. • Lead the alignment of the strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project with key stakeholders. • Preventive management of roadblocks and generation of risk mitigation plans. • Build and manage the project schedule, define the critical path, track activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed-upon deadlines, generate and communicate status reports, and escalate critical issues. • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings including kick-off meetings, project team meetings, risk assessments, financial reviews, lessons learned, post-launch reviews, and additional meetings as required. • Provide transparency and communication on project status and risks to cross-functional team members and Project Management Lead. • Responsible for the consistent application, execution, and continuous improvement of Nestlé's I&R processes and tools. • Maintain and ensure data accuracy, deliverable completion, and documentation as specified by relevant policies and procedures across assigned projects. • Meet established key performance indicators (KPIs) and other program metrics. • Responsible for making and ensuring the implementation of process improvements. Project Team Leadership • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and enable results through others with or without authority in a matrix-like organization and agile mindset • Demonstrate courage and initiative to influence stakeholders with integrity and manage expectations • Comfortable leading discussions and communicating within project teams • Embrace details and ambiguity while keeping a general view to reduce complexity and strive for rapid but informed management decisions • Acts as a change agent Stakeholder Engagement and Networking • Identify and engage with stakeholders creating synergies through effective networking with all relevant business partners and external partners • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization; ensure all relevant stakeholders are continuously informed of project status, risks, issues and action plans • Ensure effective on-time decision making by providing deciders with the relevant information and recommendations Business acumen • Contribute to an impactful business/commercial success by considering the whole picture of the project • Ensure and communicate business relevance with project team working towards a shared goal • Verify sustainable business value by continuously evaluating and challenging project purpose Qualifications Requirements & Minimum Education Level • Minimum BA/BS required Experience • 3 years of related work experience Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Brilliant at the basics (time management, results focus, communication skills, organization skills) • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams • Effectively collaborates and influences people through strong interpersonal skills • Ability to manage conflict and drive resolution • Flexibility and adaptability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced and dynamic environment • Quick sifting abilities (focuses project team and stakeholders on the top priorities - can focus on high level and detail level, knowing which is appropriate) • Ability to analyze data, identify links between facts, ideas and situations that have no obvious connection • Ability to manage ambiguity The approximate pay range for this position is $104,000-143,000 base salary. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
