Full Job Description
The Technical Project Manager will support complex product development initiatives while partnering closely with program leadership and cross-functional engineering teams in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. This opportunity is based in Durham, North Carolina, with significant travel requirements during the early stages of the role.

Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager:
  • Drive planning and execution of highly technical development programs, ensuring timelines, scope, and deliverables are achieved
  • Act as a key communication bridge between project teams and program leadership, providing consistent updates on risks, progress, and resource needs
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions in multiple global locations
  • Oversee project financials including budget tracking, capital expenditure requests, and management of scope adjustments
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule, quality, and overall project success

Qualifications of the Technical Project Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline with 4+ years of relevant project coordination or management experience
  • Ability to perform effectively in an unstructured, rapidly changing environment with competing priorities and tight timelines
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and willingness to begin in a support capacity before advancing into full project ownership
  • Proficiency with project tracking tools and standard business applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), along with the ability to interpret engineering documentation
  • PMP certification preferred and willingness to travel up to 50-60% domestically (PA/CA) initially, reducing over time, with occasional international travel (Mexico/China)

Compensation for the Technical Project Manager:
  • Salary of $70,000 - $100,000 dependent upon experience
  • Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law
