Position: Infrastructure Product Manager

Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Pay: $56-59 per hour

Description: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Product Manager to support the EPEO Platform Transformation and lead delivery efforts aligned with EPEO Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). This role is responsible for managing value streams and strategic initiatives that drive the success of enterprise platform operations in large, cross-functional environments. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated leader with strong product, program, and portfolio management experience who thrives in dynamic environments, proactively removes roadblocks, and drives successful delivery of customer-focused technology solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, tracking, risk mitigation, issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and status reporting.
  • Own and manage infrastructure product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with portfolio vision and customer value objectives.
  • Collaborate with platform teams to prioritize features and initiatives for Program Increment (PI) Planning.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between stakeholders, customers, engineering teams, and external partners.
  • Drive resolution of cross-functional and cross-team dependencies and impediments.
  • Lead demand planning efforts and support customer research initiatives.
  • Gather and manage business and technical requirements while partnering with technical leads and engineering teams.
  • Facilitate PI Planning sessions and provide executive-level reporting on project and portfolio status.
  • Identify, visualize, and manage upstream and downstream dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Utilize metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement in delivery performance, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Support Service-to-Platform Transformation initiatives through product coaching, leadership training, and organizational change efforts.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience demonstrating proficiency across multiple technologies, disciplines, and delivery methodologies.
  • 3+ years of Program Management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex IT projects, including software development and infrastructure implementations.
  • Experience serving in roles such as: Release Train Engineer (RTE), Product Manager, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Similar technology leadership positions
  • Strong experience with: Product Management, Portfolio Management, Program Management, Project Management
  • Proficiency with Jira and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Preferred:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP and/or SAFe certifications.
  • Experience working with globally distributed technology teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients, vendors, technical teams, and executive leadership.
  • Proven leadership and execution management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for infrastructure technology products, including: Network Services, Platform Engineering, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Monitoring & Observability Solutions, Container as a Service (CaaS), Security Products (SIEM, SOAR, IAM, XDR)
  • Demonstrated success delivering software development and infrastructure initiatives in Agile environments.
