Technical Program Manager

Project Manager II

UST is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong Windows Administration and Cloud Infrastructure project experience to lead enterprise infrastructure transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage large-scale infrastructure and cloud migration programs while providing technical leadership across Windows platforms, hybrid cloud environments, and enterprise IT operations.

The opportunity:
• Lead and manage infrastructure and cloud transformation programs from initiation through successful delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including cloud, infrastructure, networking, security, and operations teams.
• Drive Windows Server infrastructure modernization, migration, upgrade, and optimization initiatives.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Support hybrid cloud deployments and infrastructure integration across Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments.
• Oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Ensure infrastructure solutions meet security, compliance, scalability, and operational standards.

What you need:
• Strong experience managing enterprise infrastructure and cloud migration projects.
• Hands-on expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and cloud migration methodologies.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Understanding backup, disaster recovery, infrastructure monitoring, and IT operations management.
• Power BI and advanced dashboarding for real-time visibility.
• Program and team metrics analysis, including trend identification and data-driven decision making.
• Strong project/program management experience using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with infrastructure security, compliance, governance, and risk management practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Desired Skills:
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM/MECM, and endpoint management solutions.
• Exposure to networking, storage, and data center operations.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud automation tools.
• ITIL service management experience.
• Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technical program/project management and enterprise infrastructure support.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or ITIL are preferred.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Oregon

Compensation Range: $102,000-$153,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
